Well it's April 2nd in my timezone, so Happy birthday Masaru Aniki!
For people who don't know, he's from digimon savers, the 5th series of the digimon franchise. And contrary to popular belief, it is also a very good series and the lack of goggles did nothing to prove otherwise! I love this series to bits as well and it has kinda gotten to the point that I can't stop drawing him for weeks straight! Words can't describe how much I adore Masaru hahah I even made a parody for him (wip though): [link] It was suppose to be his actual birthday gift art but I can't finish in time. Oh well.
I feel like I'm posting this everywhere-- tumblr, pixiv, then now dA. Oops. Oh well spread the Masaru love it is<333 Alrighty now I need to go sleep soon I have my teaching interview to attend tomorrow>83 Good luck to me(:
ps: Masarumon is an inside joke in the fandom, because he punches digimon (even up till mega levels) with his bare fists and the fandom often jokes that he's more like a digimon than human. Either way he's still adorable to meXD

okay I know I'm ten years late to the general party and four years late to this particular party but YES Savers is the best series. Masaru is the best protagonist. I am glad that there does in fact seem to be a small portion of the fandom that thinks so too. 
Also this drawing is very cute. Having some of the lyrics from Believer in there is a nice touch. x3
